Britt Baker Sustained Concussion During AEW Fight For The Fallen Pre-Show

During tag team match...

Dr. Britt Baker, DMD sustained a concussion during a tag team match on the Buy-In portion of AEW's Fight For the Fallen, on Saturday night in Jacksonville.

Baker suffered the injury while teaming with Riho in a loss to Bea Priestley and Shoko Nakajima. While not confirmed as the absolute cause, there was one juncture in the match where Priestley kicked a downed Baker in the back of the head, after which Baker seemed to apparently be hindered.

Revelation of the concussion came later in the night, when Aubrey Edwards, the referee for the match, tweeted that she had lost one of her earrings while leaving the building. Baker followed up on Edwards' tweet by noting that the referee lost the earring in the midst of taking care of and looking after Baker throughout the night in her injured state, also promising, "Next pair is on me."

The match was Baker's second with AEW. She wrestled in a four way bout at Double or Nothing in May, defeating Awesome King, Nyla Rose, and Kylie Rae.
