Through this weekend, two more bouts have been added to WWE Super ShowDown, scheduled for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, June 7. Among the two added matches is one for the WWE Intercontinental championship.
Champion Finn Balor will be defending the gold against Andrade, with whom he’s been feuding since the beginning of the Superstar Shake-up. Andrade scored a non-title victory over Balor on Raw when he briefly moved to the show on April 15. They both now reside on the SmackDown brand, which Balor moved to in the next Shake-up phase.
Also added to the card will be a heavyweight battle between Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley. The two have at least peripherally feuded since last fall, when Strowman’s ongoing issue with Baron Corbin saw Lashley be employed as hired muscle, to try and contain Strowman.
The current card for Super ShowDown now looks like this:
-The Undertaker vs. Goldberg
-Triple H vs. Randy Orton
-WWE Intercontinental champion Finn Balor vs. Andrade
-Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley
-50 man battle royal
