Kenny Omega Vs. Joey Janela Scheduled For AEW Dynamite
After last week, can you blame them?
In a rematch from the second episode of AEW Dark, Kenny Omega goes one on one with Joey Janela on tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite in Pittsburgh.
Janela was originally scheduled to wrestle Jack Evans as part of the evening’s tapings. Instead, Evans has been moved to the Dark tapings, where he’ll compete in a triple threat match with Jimmy Havoc and Darby Allin.
AEW tweeted that the Omega/Janela match has been booked due to the overwhelming response to their first match, a crazy and unrestrained Unsanctioned match in Boston won by Omega.There is no indication that tonight’s match will have a similar stipulation. But given how Omega’s been introducing a barbed wire broom in the run-up to his Full Gear match with Jon Moxley, anything’s possible.

AEW World Tag Team tournament semifinals: Private Party vs. The Lucha Bros
AEW World Tag Team tournament semifinals: The Dark Order vs. SoCal Uncensored

Cody Rhodes is also scheduled to appear.
