Seth Rollins Admits He Isn't A Fan Of WWE Wild Card Rule

Earlier this year Vince McMahon had an epiphany, a fantastic idea, a moment of real genius as he introduced the Wild Card Rule to WWE.

Initially, the new rule was to allow three Superstars from SmackDown Live to appear on Raw, and three from Raw to appear on SmackDown Live on any given week. That was then changed to four Superstars, before everyone putting together WWE's shows seemingly forgot how to count.

Each week it becomes increasingly harder to keep track of which Superstars are assigned to each main roster brand, and speaking to Newsweek, WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins has admitted that's something he's is wary of: “The Wild Card really muddled things up, to be honest with you. Now you’re seeing those guys every single week. It used to feel special when I see the New Day, but now they’re eating pancakes backstage every chance they get on Monday, and I’m not a fan of that.

However, Rollins does believe that when SmackDown Live moves to Fox during the first week of October we'll start to see the end of the rule: "I think once you see the move to Fox, it’s really going to tighten down as far as best Wild Card options and stuff like. It’s really cool to see things come together now and get these cool match-ups you might not get in October or November.”
