AEW Dynamite Viewership Tops 1 Million For First Time In 3 Months

A big boost for AEW

The December 22 Holiday Bash edition of AEW Dynamite saw viewership break past the one million mark for the first time in over three months.

According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week's Dynamite show averaged at 1.02 million viewers on TNT, which is an increase of 7.6 per cent from the December 15 show. This is the first time that AEW Dynamite has got more than one million viewers since the October 6 episode.

AEW Dynamite also saw a substantial increase in the crucial 18-49 demographic. The program pulled in a 0.37 rating, which is up by 19.4 per cent from the previous week.

This 18-49 rating ties Dynamite's best number in the category since October 27 and fans of the product will note that it was just slightly shy of the 0.38 rating pulled in by WWE Raw this past Monday.

Dynamite finished second on cable in the ratings, second only to a college football game on ESPN. The show saw an increase in all demographic categories aside from females aged between 12-34, and people over the age of 50.

This week's Dynamite was main-evented by a heavily advertised six-man tag-team match, which put CM Punk, Sting and Darby Allin up against MJF and FTR. The show also saw the debut of Kyle O'Reilly in AEW.
