All Elite Wrestling’s plans for the February 21 edition of Dynamite were radically changed throughout the week, with the company suffering a raft of injury concerns in the build-up to the show.

AEW President Tony Khan noted as much on X/Twitter, describing the week as ‘hectic’:

“Tonight's #AEWDynamite, NEXT on TBS, will be presented with up to 5 minutes overrun! This has been one of the most hectic weeks for injuries + unexpected unavailability that I can recall in @AEW, especially since the pandemic era. Tonight will be a wild night on @TBSNetwork!” posted Khan.

Khan later followed up, declaring that Trent Beretta had been ‘sent home to rest’ after an attack by the Undisputed Kingdom, whilst International Champion Orange Cassidy was set to be assessed ahead of the show but obviously passed doctors’ checks as he faced Mike Bennett on Dynamite.

The injury woes didn’t finish there, with Adam Copeland not cleared by medical staff, whilst Hangman Page and Madison Rayne both appeared to suffer injury on Dynamite.

AEW are currently without several upper card talents due to long-term injury, with Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, and Jamie Hayter all on the shelf, whilst MJF is also taking time away from the ring.
