Andrade El Idolo Reveals Sammy Guevara Complained About Him In AEW

A stiff Andrade El Idolo in the ring

Andrade El Idolo had an issue with another talent in All Elite Wrestling.

Speaking with Más Lucha, Andrade revealed that Sammy Guevara complained about him for hitting too hard inside the squared circle following one of their matches.

"I did have one issue with a wrestler. I am going to say his name, it was Sammy Guevara. I had an issue with him because he once came to the locker room and complained that we hit him too hard. It's wrestling, solve it in the ring. If I hit hard, hit me hard too. I learned that he came in and that he accused me like a little girl. After I learned about it, I spoke to him and asked if he had an issue with me, but he said he did not and that's all there was to it," Andrade said.

"It's funny because not even in WWE. For example, Sheamus likes to hit, and all my respect for him because he loves to hit hard and loves the strikes. He is wild. Even The Miz likes to throw strikes. Not even John Cena complained about me, so if he did not complain, imagine this kid who is just starting, but there's that."

Guevara and Andrade did have a brief feud over the TNT Championship in early 2022. They first faced off in singles action for the gold on February 25 before a Three-Way including Darby Allin on March 4. Andrade then came to blows with Guevara one more time at Revolution when El Idolo teamed with Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy to take on The Spanish God, Darby Allin, and Sting.

Elsewhere in the interview, Andrade admitted to feeling stagnant in AEW. How long he will be a part of the promotion remains to be seen. He will face Dark Order's 10 in a Mask vs. Career Match on Friday's episode of Rampage.

Andrade has since tweeted: "I said it to your FACE if you had a problem with me and you said NOTHING, I wont beat your ass because im a professional, don't be scared. When I say something I name names, and im not scared to get fired! #Sammy."

While not outright stated, Andrade was seemingly replying to an earlier tweet from Guevara which read"You are a jobber. A favor hire. Be grateful b*tch."
