The 2024 Worlds End PPV took place last night, taking over the Addition Financial Center in Orlando, Florida. There were plenty of big names on the card, but there were also reportedly some rather interesting names backstage too.

According to Fightful Select, some outside talent were present behind the scenes at AEW Worlds End, notably wrestlers who live in and around the Orlando area. The most notable is recently released former WWE wrestler, Baron Corbin (real name Tom Pestock), who was let go from the company in early November. It should be noted that Corbin still has another month before he can sign with anyone due to his non-compete clause.

Another notable name backstage was current TNA wrestler AJ Francis, whose deal with the promotion is set to expire on January 1, 2025. Fightful Select states that Francis was in discussions with Tony Khan prior to the show, and also was talking with former Hit Row teammate Swerve Strickland, who he was aligned with in WWE. Francis had previously stated that he would like to work a programme with Strickland
