Ben Stiller Approves Of Kris Statlander's 'Dodgeball' Tribute From AEW Full Gear

Kris Statlander is Ben Stiller-approved. 

The AEW talent is a notable fan of Ben Stiller as an actor and she paid tribute to one of his iconic characters at Full Gear on November 18, dressing as White Goodman from 'Dodgeball'. Statlander adorned Globo Gym Purple Cobra gear for her TBS Title match against Julia Hart and Skye Blue and she gave the cobra sign during her entrance. 

Like the Globo Gym Purple Cobras at the end of 'Dodgeball', Kris Statlander was unsuccessful in her title defence at Full Gear as Julia Hart dodged, ducked, dipped, dived, and dodged her way to victory, pinning Skye Blue after Statlander connected with Saturday Night Fever. 

Nevertheless, Statlander's latest tribute impressed Ben Stiller as he replied to the former TBS Champion on X and has since started following her on the social media platform. Statlander previously paid tribute to Stiller with a set of 'Zoolander' gear at AEW All Out. 

Tributes to movie characters are common within the Best Friends faction as Orange Cassidy is based on Paul Rudd's Andy from 'Wet Hot American Summer.'
