Bobby Lashley Reveals Advice Given To Gable Steveson

Bobby Lashley has recalled Gable Steveson called him and asked him for any advice ahead of his deal with WWE.

WWE confirmed the signing of Steveson in September, with the Olympic Gold Medallist then surprisingly drafted to Monday Night Raw without ever wrestling for WWE during the 2021 Draft last month.

Lashley can see a lot of similarities between himself and Steveson, and reveals he told the 21-year-old he was on his way to becoming a very wealthy man if he keeps doing exactly what he already is.

Speaking to Planeta Wrestling, Lashley said: "Good for him. I was an amateur wrestler growing up and he's an Olympic champion. He's just shattered everything.

"Being so young, I told that kid - because he called me a little while back and he asked me for some advice -  and I was like, 'Keep your head on, don't get into any trouble, keep training the same way you do and you're going to be a very wealthy man.' He's doing great."
