Booker T Close To WWE NXT Return

Booker T will soon be back on WWE TV.

The WWE Hall of Famer has been absent from his role as an NXT commentator since NXT Vengeance Day on February 4 due to undergoing a medical procedure. 

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T revealed he is back in the gym following the procedure and he will be back on TV in about a week. The next taping of NXT TV will be held on Tuesday, February 27. 

"I'm coming back. I'm coming back strong in about one week. I'm about a week out. I had a doctor's appointment this week just to make sure everything is all clear. Everything's healing up real good," Booker T said.

Booker T has not divulged the nature of the procedure as he "don't like putting my business out there and stuff." Wade Barrett initially replaced Booker T at Vengeance Day before Byron Saxton stepped in on NXT TV. 

Outside of WWE, Booker T runs the Reality of Wrestling promotion. A former talent recently claimed they were fired by ROW due to being stalked.
