Bray Wyatt Seemingly Pokes Fun At WWE Zombies

Zombies? In WWE? It’ll never work…

We are several days removed from WWE WrestleMania Backlash, and the debate rages on about the zombie lumberjacks during The Miz vs. Damian Priest. Some loved it, some hated it, others have gently mocked it, seemingly including Bray Wyatt.

The absent WWE superstar posted a Tweet ‘commenting’ on the eyebrow raising angle, with Wyatt simply saying “Miss me yet? #zombies”

On the face of it it could be read as Wyatt saying the zombies were a bit much, and that some of the more farfetched stories he worked as The Fiend don’t look so bad in hindsight. It could also be read as Wyatt saying it wasn’t too bad, as zombies, the undead, and supernatural beings of unlimited power have been the norm in the WWE since the late 1980s.

Or, we could all be reading far too much into this, and it could simply be Wyatt finding a way to engage with the WWE Universe and we should just enjoy it as a piece of weird television.

Regardless, it’ll be interesting to see if WWE ever does something so brazenly out of the blue as this in the near future, or if all the supernatural shenanigans will be reserved for the likes of Wyatt and co.
