Britt Baker: Main-Eventing AEW Dynamite Or Rampage Is More Empowering Than An All-Women's Event

Baker has main-evented multiple AEW shows

Britt Baker believes it's more empowering for female wrestlers to be given the opportunity to main-event shows such as AEW Dynamite and AEW Rampage as opposed to having their own, all-women events.

Baker has established herself as the face of the AEW Women's division and, as such, has main evented a host of events. Baker famously headlined the first episode of AEW Rampage against Red Velvet and was the main event at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam, defending her AEW Women's Title against Ruby Soho.

NWA recently hosted an all-women's show, entitled EmPowerr, and while Baker can see how such an event is empowering, main-eventing a show that also features male wrestlers means just as much.

Speaking to Scott Fishman of TV Insider, when asked if AEW could do an all-women's show, Baker said: "Never say never. As empowering as EmPowerrr is, I think it’s more empowering we’re given the platform to the main event all these television shows.

"To main event Dynamite. To main event Rampage. When the women main event a men’s show, it has a little extra satisfaction."
