Bryan Danielson Challenges MJF To Iron Man Match At AEW Revolution

Bryan Danielson wants MJF at AEW Revolution

After weeks of animosity and barbed insults, Bryan Danielson has officially thrown down the gauntlet to AEW World Champion MJF, challenging ‘The Salt of the Earth’ to a match at AEW Revolution on March 5.

MJF reverted to his tried and true playbook, decreeing that Danielson would have to defeat his next five opponents before getting his match, but Danielson rebuffed MJF’s initial proposal, saying that if he beats all five opponents then he gets to name the stipulation, decreeing that he wants to face MJF in a 60 minute Iron Man match.

Should Danielson prevail then this will be the second Iron Man match in AEW history, with PAC and Kenny Omega having a much lauded 30-minute Iron Man on Dynamite in February 2020.

MJF had previously given multi-match 'trials' to Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho, with Jericho memorably having to face the likes of Nick Gage and Juventud Guerrera en route to a bout with 'The Generational Talent' in 2021. It remains to be seen who MJF will put in ‘The American Dragon’s way, although Danielson is set to face Konosuke Takeshita on January 11.
