The crowning moment of Bryan Danielson's run in WWE as Daniel Bryan saw him defeat Randy Orton and Batista, having beaten Triple H earlier in the night, to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion in the main event of WrestleMania XXX.
While a major moment for WWE fans as it was the culmination of the YES! Movement behind the American Dragon, WrestleMania 30 doesn't actually mean that much to Danielson.
After explaining that facing Swerve Strickland at AEW All In 2024 was the match that meant the most to him, Danielson told Sun Sport:
"I main evented WrestleMania 30 with WWE, and honestly, it doesn't mean that much to me. My sister and my niece got to come into the ring, right? But I was about to marry my wife the following Friday, and they wouldn't let her come down to the ring. They didn't want her to be in the thing. And then on top of that, it wasn't just that, I was going through a ton of neck pain and all these other things. So these things that seem like cool moments to a viewer, there's all this other stuff going on in a wrestler's life or a performer's life that could make that moment not as valuable to them as it is to the people viewing it."
Danielson has previously revealed that his favourite moment from wrestling in WWE between 2009 and 2021 was dropping the WWE Title to Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania 35.
