Bryan Danielson Says His Son Got Kicked Out Of School For Eye Gouging & Biting

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and in the case of Buddy Danielson, he has taken after his father. We have seen many second and third generation wrestlers over the years, and whilst he is still in his infancy, Danielson’s son could well be on his way to developing a taste for the ring and the physical violence which comes with it. 

During an interview on The Daly Migs Show with Taryn Daly and Steve Migs, Danielson spoke about his two children, who are complete opposites of one another. He spoke about how he and his wife felt like great parents upon Birdie’s development (their daughter), but were lost when Buddy’s more crazy side took hold. 

"We had a parent-teacher conference at my daughter's school and it was like, 'Your daughter is the best. She's the best student. She's so helpful.' Later that night, I get an email from where our son was going to school telling us he had been kicked out of school for 'biting two teachers and gouging one in the eye.' [laughs]. Of course they're like, 'Of course, the wrestler's son is gouging somebody in the eye.' Some of the things I've done.....[laughs]. We're like, 'No we don't let him watch wrestling. That's not me in real life.'" 

Is it too early to induct him into the Blackpool Combat Club? Either way, Danielson is on his way home after his full-time AEW run came to an end after losing to Jon Moxley at the WrestleDream PPV, allowing him time to recover from various injuries he is currently suffering from.
