Cash Wheeler Alludes To Recent Arrest In Unedited Version Of AEW Dynamite Segment

Cash Wheeler alludes to his recent arrest

Cash Wheeler's long-term future with All Elite Wrestling remains up in the air following his arrest on one count of aggravated assault with a firearm on Friday, August 18. Wheeler's arrest stemmed from an incident that occurred on July 27 where he allegedly flashed a gun at another party during what is believed to have been a road rage incident.

Despite Wheeler's legal issues, he is still scheduled to wrestle at All In on Sunday, August 27 and All Elite Wrestling have continued to promote FTR vs. The Young Bucks III for the AEW World Tag Team Titles. This included a taped face-to-face interview on Dynamite, during which FTR and The Young Bucks traded barbs with one another, including The Young Bucks saying FTR will only be remembered as the team The Bucks named on Being The Elite.

The interview on Dynamite came to an end there but AEW have since released an unedited version which shows an angry Dax Harwood scrapping the remainder of the segment. Cash Wheeler then alluded to his legal situation saying: "I will say this, you say you named us? You didn't do the work, you haven't done what we've done. You haven't put in the body of work. We have went out there match after match and laid this foundation. We've made this legacy. And I don't know what's next for me. I know what's next for FTR and The Young Bucks and that's Wembley Stadium. That is All In. If this is my last real chance, if this is my last real hail mary at a legacy, I can promise you right here, right now I will rip my heart out of my chest and leave it in that ring before I give you guys the satisfaction of saying you are better than FTR."

Dax Harwood shared the unedited version of the interview that didn't air on Dynamite, tweeting, "The version they didn't want you to see."

If Wheeler is convicted of aggravated assault with a firearm, he could face up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $5000.
