Cesaro's New Ring Name Possibly Revealed

Cesaro might have a new ring name

Cesaro's new in-ring name has possibly been revealed.

The Swiss Cyborg used his real name Claudio Castagnoli on the independent wrestling scene prior to his WWE signing in 2011 but Cesaro will seemingly take inspiration from his WWE run for his new moniker.

Castagnoli filed to trademark 'CSRO' with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on March 14 for merchandise, coffee, and professional wrestling purposes.

The full filing was as follows:

"IC 025. US 022 039. G & S: Hats; Shirts; Socks; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts

"IC 030. US 046. G & S: Coffee; Coffee beans; Coffee drinks; Ground coffee; Ground coffee beans

"IC 041. US 100 101 107. G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes."

When exactly Cesaro - or possibly CSRO - will return to the squared circle is currently unknown.

Castagnoli quietly departed WWE in late February after his contract with the company expired. His departure was said to be more of a WWE decision as they "made an offer he didn't like" and both sides failed to come to terms on a new deal.
