Chris Jericho Responds To Unhappy Fan Over AEW Bloods & Guts Postponement

On this week's episode of Dynamite, The Elite were originally scheduled to take on The Inner Circle in a Blood & Guts match. However, All Elite Wrestling announced on Friday that the match had been indefinitely postponed as the young promotion didn't think "the time and circumstances" were right to broadcast such a match on TV.

Instead, Wednesday's episode will feature a face to face confrontation between Chris Jericho and Matt Hardy, Cody vs. Jimmy Havoc, Best Friends vs. The Lucha Brothers in a Parking Lot Brawl, and Luchasaurus vs. Wardlow. 

One fan was particularly unhappy that Blood & Guts had been postponed and vented their frustration on Twitter. This only led to the furore of The Maker Of Pain, however, as he explained the match had been cancelled because it would go against government recommendations that all gatherings of 10 or more people be cancelled.

The former Le Champion tweeted: "First off, pull your head out of your ass and realize these are crazy times. Secondly, we aren’t allowed to gather more than ten people together at a time.  B&G has 11 inside the cage and that’s with no camera men or crew."
