Current AEW and former WWE star Chris Jericho has admitted that he would consider going back to the company he last wrestled for in 2018.
Then again, he would also consider not going there.
Clearly keeping his options open, the 54-year-old recently commented on the possibility of a WWE return during a Horror Rock and Wrestle Fest Event, saying:
"I would have considered a return to WWE before things changed. Once again, there are two teams you can play on, which is amazing, and it's one of the reasons why I wanted to take a chance and go to AEW in the first place, it was a real gamble... Of course I would consider going back there (WWE). I would also consider not going back there too, it just depends on what the situation is and what's going on with me at the time".
Jericho's AEW contract is reportedly set to expire this year. He dropped the ROH World Championship to Bandido on last night's AEW Dynasty pay-per-view.
Jericho is an AEW original, having been with the promotion since its 2019 inception. He was also the promotion's inaugural world champion. As well as AEW, Jericho has wrestled for the likes of NJPW, DDT, PWG and CMLL in recent years.
