CM Punk And FTR Vs. Jay White, Juice Robinson, And Samoa Joe To Main Event AEW Collision Premiere
Punk's return match is made official
Tony Khan announced during Wednesday's Dynamite that, for the main event of the premiere episode of AEW Collision, CM Punk (in his return to AEW) will team up with World Tag Team champions FTR to take on Bullet Club Gold members Jay White and Juice Robinson, and ROH Television champion Samoa Joe.
This will be CM Punk's first match (as well as his first AEW appearance) in over nine months. Punk has not been seen on AEW programming since the events that transpired after the 2022 All Out, when he was suspended for his part in the post-show fight also involving The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and Ace Steel.
Joe hasn't been utilized on AEW programming since losing the TNT championship to Wardlow in March. FTR and Bullet Club Gold have been feuding since FTR saved Ricky Starks from an attack by White and Robinson at Double or Nothing last Sunday.
AEW Collision premieres on Saturday, June 17, from the United Center in Chicago. No other matches have been announced as of yet.
