CM Punk Doesn't Rule Out Leading A New WWE Faction

Anything can happen in today's WWE, especially with CM Punk

While CM Punk is most well-known for his solo exploits, he has also been at the helm of various memorable stables. In WWE, these included the New Nexus and The Straight-Edge Society.

During a recent interview with Ringside Collectibles, Punk was asked about the prospect of leading another multi-person group, potentially with some people from NXT.

Punk isn't ruling it, or anything else as far as WWE creative is concerned, out, saying:

"I'm not going to say no, because you never say 'never'. I don't see it happening in the foreseeable future, but you never know what's gonna happen. That's the cool thing about where we're at as a company right now. Creatively speaking, this is the most fruitful, creative locker room that I think I've ever been in. Ideas aren't being ignored and shot down, and people are eager to share ideas. So somebody could have a brilliant idea that's something that I have blinders on and can't see, and I would be receptive to any of the ideas as long as they're good".

A recent report suggested that WWE are very happy with the former WWE Champion and are in the process of offering him an improved contract.

The 45-year-old will make his return from injury on August 3 when he takes on Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam.
