CM Punk Says That The WWE Locker Room Is "Everything The Business Is Supposed To Be"

CM Punk has been all praise about the WWE locker room

CM Punk returned to WWE at the back end of 2023 after a turbulent run in AEW which was jam-packed full of controversial moments and backstage issues. Punk was outspoken during his All Out 2022 media scrum tirade, singling out members of The Elite and other “children” backstage on the roster.

There were certainly some who debated whether CM Punk would last long in WWE after the various issues that continued cropping up backstage in AEW, though it looks as though Punk is happier with the backstage atmosphere in his new home.

Punk picked up a torn triceps injury at the Royal Rumble event, ruling him out of action for up to six months. During his Royal Rumble vlog on WWE’s social media platforms and YouTube, Punk noted that this injury was just a bump in the road, but did say that it was going to take him away from an “amazing situation” and a great locker room.

“I'm very careful about saying, like, where you work is your family. Because I think your family is your family and where you work is your job. But it's been a great support system. And just certain looks from certain people I get, and then I start crying again, you know? And Cody's one of them. He's a great dude. This locker room is everything the business is supposed to be. It's everything the business was sold to me as being. And it's remarkable, and that's why I'm so sad. I'm not sad I hurt my arm, I'm sad I'm temporarily out of this amazing situation.”

Whether this is a dig at the AEW locker room is uncertain, but either way Punk has been full of praise for those in WWE.
