CM Punk Set To Appear On Next Week's WWE Raw

WWE have revealed that CM Punk will be on next week's episode of Raw.

CM Punk did not appear on last night's episode of Raw, but WWE have officially revealed that he'll be on next Monday's show in Cleveland, Ohio. (He'll also be at this Friday's SmackDown, an appearance which had already been announced.)

Despite his absence yesterday, Punk was mentioned on the episode, as Adam Pearce notified Seth Rollins that Punk would be on the red brand next week. The Raw GM also explained that he intends to sign Punk as a Raw exclusive Superstar.

Punk seems set for an immediate feud with Rollins, given the latter's furious ringside response during the former's shock return at WWE Survivor Series WarGames - and subsequent reports confirming that Seth's anger was a worked reaction

Also announced for next week's Raw is a match between Cody Rhodes and Shinsuke Nakamura. Last week Nakamura revealed Cody as his next target, misting the American Nightmare in the face. Last night their feud developed, with Nakamura drawing parallels between himself and Cody, mentioning how both went on to lose at WrestleMania following a Royal Rumble victory (Shinsuke in 2018, Cody in 2022.)

In response, Cody stated that he and Nakamura are nothing alike, and that he won't respect Shinsuke until they face each other in the ring.
