WWE Tag Team To Receive Push Through WrestleMania 40

A WWE tag team look set for a push

A WWE tag team will be on the receiving end of a push through WrestleMania 40, according to a new report from WrestleVotes

The team of Grayson Waller and Austin Theory has a lot of support within WWE and although their team was only meant to be short-term, WWE have decided to extend their run together and they will be prominently featured on programming through April 2024.

"We've heard over the past few weeks of tremendous support for the team of Grayson Waller & Austin Theory. Source in creative has said it was meant to be a short term pairing but those plans have changed. The expectation is that the brash, young team may benefit from the mutual partnership in the long run. Expect the duo to play a strong role in programming thru Mania," WrestleVotes tweeted.

After initially teaming together at a couple of live events, Grayson Waller and Austin Theory became a tag team on WWE TV from September 1. The pairing has seen the team challenge unsuccessfully for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships and they also recently sustained a loss to Kevin Owens and LA Knight.

If the push will see the team challenge again for the tag team titles remains to be seen. The current Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions remain Judgment Day's Finn Balor and Damian Priest.
