CM Punk Teases Royal Rumble Entry And Main Eventing WrestleMania 40

CM Punk delivered a promo last night on WWE SmackDown last night in which he spoke about his next steps in WWE, talking about a sea of names who he might end up stepping in the ring with such as Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, LA Knight, and even Seth Rollins. 

He would also look ahead to the Road To WrestleMania, and asked the crowd if they wanted to see him win the Royal Rumble match and main event WrestleMania, the latter of which being something that caused some issues for Punk in his first run with WWE, as he felt he deserved that prestigious spot but never ended up getting it. The crowd responded with a big reaction to this comment. 

Punk made reference to someone who wanted to “finish his story” in the main event of WrestleMania in Cody Rhodes, and later on in the night they faced off backstage. Respect was shared at their respective Royal Rumble and WrestleMania goals, and they ended things on a handshake.
