WrestleMania 41 is set to be headlined by both Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins on Night One, and Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena on Night Two. Notably, the women’s division in WWE was once again snubbed from the show-closing spot, with it not being since all the way back at WrestleMania 37 in 2021 that women main evented WrestleMania.

If it were up to CM Punk, that would not be the case this year. Speaking on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Punk stated that he’d have booked Iyo Sky vs. Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley for the main event of WrestleMania 41, mostly due to the fact that Sky might not get another opportunity to do so.

“If it was up to me, believe it or not, Rhea, Bianca and IYO would be the main event. I’m not saying which night, but I can tell you that if I was in Triple H’s spot, I would gravitate towards that. I think all three of those ladies are so supremely talented, I know they are going to steal the show. And I want to see my friends and my colleagues accomplish things. And it doesn’t so much matter to me if I accomplish them. I know what it feels like to have that chip on my shoulder, to be like, ‘This is my year, right?’ Nobody is going to tell me that John Cena shouldn’t be main eventing WrestleMania in his last Mania, you know? So, stay vigilant everybody, bust your ass, and if it’s meant to be it will come to pass—and I’m obviously living, breathing proof of that.”

It was revealed by WWE that Sky, Belair and Ripley would be opening up Night Two of WrestleMania this year.
