The groundswell of support for Cody Rhodes has brought in a chunk of change for WWE.

According to Wrestle Features, the top three selling shirts on WWE Shop on Wednesday, February 7 were versions of Cody Rhodes' 'Claim Your Kingdom' t-shirt, followed by Drew McIntyre's meme shirt at CM Punk's expense in fourth place. CM Punk t-shirts then occupied fifth and sixth place before Jey Uso's 'YEET' t-shirt in seventh.

Cody then returned to the leaderboard with two more t-shirts in eighth and ninth before The Rock finally moved some merch with his 'People's Champ' t-shirt in 10th.

The hot sales of Cody merch comes after Rhodes was effectively replaced in the main event of WrestleMania 40 by The Rock on last week's edition of SmackDown. Rhodes has since received an enormous amount of support in a situation that either began as or has turned into a work within WWE as they look to turn Cody into 2014 Daniel Bryan.

Whether Rhodes will be added back to the WrestleMania 40 main event remains to be seen but WWE creative have reportedly not been told of any changes to the planned Rock vs. Roman Reigns match.
