Colt Cabana Finishes Up With Ring Of Honor

Veteran star departs...

Colt Cabana's match at Friday night's ROH Final Battle marks his final appearance for the company, according to a report from POST Wrestling's John Pollock.

Pollock noted that Cabana was only working for the promotion on a handshake deal, and it was known since September that he would be finishing up with Ring of Honor. Cabana was reportedly offered a new deal, but turned it down.

Cabana lost to first-time opponent Alex Shelley at Final Battle on Friday in Baltimore.

This concludes Cabana's third run with ROH. Previously, the multi-time Tag Team champion was part of the company's rise between 2002 and 2007, before leaving for a brief run with WWE, under the name Scotty Goldman. His second run lasted from 2009 to 2011.

Cabana currently reigns as NWA National champion, and is set to defend the belt at Saturday night's Into the Fire pay-per-view in Atlanta, against Ricky Starks and Aron Stevens (Damien Sandow) in a three way match. Cabana is also expected to be at the promotion's NWA Powerrr TV tapings on Monday and Tuesday.
