Contract For NJPW Name Set To Expire Soon

Contract reportedly expiring for NJPW wrestler

There have been a lot of expiring deals across every professional wrestling promotion at the start of 2024, and another NJPW name has been added to that list per a recent report.

Fightful Select have reported that Bullet Club War Dogs member Alex Coughlin’s deal with New Japan Pro Wrestling is set to expire at the end of this month. There has been no word on whether or not NJPW and Coughlin are in any sort of negotiations for a new deal, or if any new contract has been offered.

Coughlin is to compete in a big steel cage match on February 11 at NJPW New Beginning, which will take place after his contract is reportedly set to expire. Bullet Club War Dogs (Alex Coughlin, David Finlay, Clark Connors, Gabe Kidd, & Drilla Maloney) and United Empire (Will Ospreay, Jeff Cobb, Henare, TJP, & Franceso Akira) will battle it out in multi-man action in a match that will be Will Ospreay’s last as a NJPW contracted wrestler. Time will tell if it will also be the same for Coughlin.
