Current Impact Wrestling Performer Appears At WWE Raw Reunion (SHOW SPOILERS)

Who was it?

As expected, WWE Reunion has been filled with numerous stars of yesteryear, making appearances throughout the broadcast. One such appearance came from a wrestler who, at least recently, had been performing for Impact Wrestling, and worked the Slammiversary pay-per-view earlier this month.

During a match between Sami Zayn and Rey Mysterio, Rob Van Dam turned up as part of a horde of throwbacks (that included Kurt Angle, The Hurricane, and Sgt. Slaughter) that prevented Zayn from trying to take a countout loss.

Not only did Van Dam wrestle at the Slammiversary pay-per-view on July 7, losing to Moose, but he also took part in the recent spate of Impact TV tapings this past Saturday in Windsor, ON.

Fans at Tampa's Amalie Arena had reported before the show that Van Dam merchandise was being sold inside the building. Van Dam himself hinted toward his appearance tonight earlier on Twitter.

No reports have been made about Van Dam's current contract status with Impact Wrestling.

Perhaps coincidentally, earlier this same month, a masked Rhino appeared at Slammiversary while still under WWE contract (which expired ten days later), and WWE is reportedly choosing not to pursue legal action.
