Dakota Kai celebrating on a December 2024 episode of WWE Raw

WWE star Dakota Kai has been cleared to return to the ring following a three-week spell on the sidelines.

The Damage CTRL member was pulled from the ring after sustaining a concussion during a match on the January 20 episode of Raw. Kai was teaming with IYO SKY against Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler when Stark hit her with a stiff missile dropkick. The injury forced Kai to miss not only the past few weeks of Raw, but also the Women's 2025 Royal Rumble match.

Last week, it was reported that Kai was 'on the cusp' of making her comeback. Last night, on X, Raw General Manager announced that Kai will team with SKY against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on tonight's edition of Raw.

Dakota Kai has suffered from multiple injury issues in recent years, spending 10 months out of action from May 2023 until March 2024 with a torn ACL. Kai was then out of action again from July until November 2024 after suffering a torn meniscus during WWE's house show tour of Japan.
