Following his DQ victory over Brian Johnson at Final Battle in December, Danhausen officially signed with Ring Of Honor in storyline. The lover of teeth actually signed with the promotion back in March 2020, though, ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic and he is under contract until the end of 2021.

Danhausen had made a couple of appearances in Ring Of Honor before he signed on the dotted line and the independent wrestling star credited Alex Shelley for helping him get a contract during a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet.

"That was thanks to Alex Shelley. I rode with him a couple of times and we really bonded on the car rides. He saw what I was doing and he liked it. He thought that it was something that ROH needed. Ring of Honor had booked me a couple of times already, just based on me being weird and different. They allowed me to be full-on Danhausen without changing anything. I have been thankful for that, if you change it, the character won't work. So Alex said 'you should sign this guy.' ROH said yes and that was it," Danhausen stated.

Outside of his independent wrestling dates, Danhausen has continued to work for ROH. He has also garnered mainstream appeal and was a recent guest on the Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend podcast.
