At WrestleMania 36, Drew McIntyre proved himself as a star in WWE as he vanquished Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship and become the first-ever British world champion in the company's history. Only 20 minutes after defeating The Beast Incarnate, McIntyre proved his resilience as he pinned The Big Show in the hidden main event of The Showcase Of The Immortals.

The Scottish Psychopath extended his winning streak to 12 matches on last night's episode of Monday Night Raw as he defeated United States Champion Andrade despite interference from Angel Garza, Austin Theory, and Zelina Vega.

After the match, the WWE Champion celebrated his victory, but "Burn It Down!" suddenly rang out around the Performance Center. McIntyre was then sent tumbling to his knees after Garza attacked him from behind with a Chop Block, and Seth Rollins  charged to the ring and hit Drew with the Stomp. The Monday Night Messiah proceeded to look down at the WWE title, declaring his intent to become a world champion once again. As the show went off the air, Rollins connected with another Stomp.

Throughout the broadcast, Seth cut three promos which foreshadowed his attack as he acknowledged his loss to Kevin Owens at The Show Of Shows and declared he had to prove the nonbelievers wrong and stomp out all the doubt they have in him.
