EC3 Open To Defending The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title Against Bryan Danielson If Small Packages Are Banned

Could we see EC3 vs. Bryan Danielson for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title?

EC3 has no interest in coming up against a formidable small package.

The former Ethan Carter III is the reigning NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, having defeated Tyrus for the belt at NWA 75 in a Bullrope Match, a match which also sent Tyrus into retirement.

EC3 has defended the title against Jay Bradley so far on NWA Powerrr and the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion is interested in putting the belt on the line against Bryan Danielson, but only if small packages are outlawed.

"I would 100%, as long as the small package is outlawed. I worked with Daniel Bryan once, we did one match against each other on NXT season four. You wrestle good guys, and then you lock up with a guy like that and it's, 'Oh, this is how it's supposed to be.' Just that moment takes you up to the next level," EC3 said during an appearance on the Kurt Angle Show.

EC3, then known as Derrick Bateman, was Bryan Danielson's rookie for season four of NXT. The two wrestlers teamed together on multiple occasions before the then-Daniel Bryan defeated Bateman in singles action. They teamed up one more time for season five of WWE NXT where Bryan and Bateman picked up a win over Titus O'Neil and Darren Young.

Bryan Danielson is currently a part of All Elite Wrestling. The promotion has previously worked with the NWA.

EC3 is somewhat infamous for unusual rules in matches, with his previous Control Your Narrative having banned Superkicks, Suicide Dives and Canadian Destroyers
