Dark Side Of The Ring is coming back and the episode topics have been revealed
The Dark Side Of The Ring is coming back for its fifth season, the show which covers the darker side and the sadder stories of the professional wrestling world. Over the years tough topics such as the Benoit Family tragedy, Owen Hart’s death, the Plane Ride From Hell, the controversy of the Fabulous Moolah, and much more have been covered on the show.
Per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, several topics have been revealed which will be covered in the fifth season, with episodes set to look at names such as Brutus Beefcake, Harley Race, Buff Bagwell, Kurt Angle, The Sandman, Chris Adams, and the events of Black Saturday.
The past troubles of Kurt Angle in regards to his drug addictions and more will be one that viewers will have their eyes on given his name value. The “Black Saturday” episode will explore the day in which Vince McMahon engaged in a hostile takeover of Georgia Championship Wrestling’s timeslot on TBS, changing the professional wrestling industry forever. It isn’t known when exactly the Dark Side Of The Ring will return to VICE TV, but filming for the show is set to take place later on throughout this year.
