Several wrestlers signed to All Elite Wrestling are currently unable to wrestle for the company in the United States due to visa issues.

It was already known that Komander and The Beast Mortos had been unable to work AEW shows in the United States as they haven't received their new visas.. This has seen the two talents be booked regularly by CMLL in recent weeks, including Mortos defending the ROH World Tag Team Championships with Sammy Guevara.

Tony Khan revealed during the pre-Forbidden Door media call that plans for the pay-per-view had been affected by visa issues, with the AEW CEO noting that Hechicero has also not received his visa, while the likes of Gabe Kidd and Mark Davis are currently going through the visa renewal process. Khan expects Davis to be back in the United States very soon, though.

Hechicero has not wrestled for AEW since the April 22 taping of Collision, while Mark Davis has not performed in the United States since June 10. Gabe Kidd has not competed for AEW since Dynasty in April when he suffered an injury.

Kidd has since returned to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, though, and set up a match with IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion Shota Umino. He will also be a part of G1 Climax 36, but Kidd's visa issues seemingly won't be resolved by night one of the tournament as his first G1 match is scheduled to take place on July 18, when the tournament resumes in Japan after the first night in Chicago.

Visa issues have also reportedly been a problem for WWE, with reports noting the company are dealing with "significant" challenges over visas.
