Four-Way Set For NJPW Capital Collision

Four-Way for the gold at NJPW Capital Collision

Following Will Ospreay's challenge, a Four-Way has been booked for New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Capital Collision show in Washington DC.

At the May 14 event, Hiroshi Tanahashi will defend the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship against Ospreay, Jon Moxley, and Juice Robinson.

Tanahashi won the vacant title at Sunday's Wrestling Dontaku event, defeating Tomohiro Ishii. The Ace was laid out by Robinson following the match, with the former IMPACT World Tag Team Champion being revealed as Bullet Club's latest member in the process.

Moxley, meanwhile, recently challenged Tanahashi to a singles match and he is a two-time IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion.

SANADA was previously IWGP US Champion but he had to vacate the gold after suffering a fractured orbital bone.

Three other matches have already been booked for Capital Collision. The updated card is as follows:

  • Hiroshi Tanahashi (c) vs. Will Ospreay vs. Jon Moxley vs. Juice Robinson - IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship
  • Eddie Kingston vs. Tomohiro Ishii
  • Brody King vs. Minoru Suzuki
  • Kazuchika Okada & Trent Beretta vs. Jay White & Hikuleo
