FTR's NJPW Battle Autumn Match Revealed

Who will FTR face at NJPW Battle Autumn?

FTR will make their New Japan Pro-Wrestling debuts in Japan this weekend and the promotion have announced who Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler will be defending the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships against.

NJPW revealed today that FTR will put the gold on the line against United Empire's Jeff Cobb and Great-O-Khan at Battle Autumn on November 5 in Osaka.

Jeff Cobb and Great-O-Khan have cemented themselves as the number one contenders for the gold in recent months, having defeated Chase Owens and Bad Luck Fale, and Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI. The United Empire team are also two-time IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions and they lost the gold to FTR at Forbidden Door without being pinned in a Three-Way with Roppongi Vice.

FTR have only defended their IWGP titles once since Forbidden Door, defeating Aussie Open at Royal Quest II earlier this month.

Several matches have already been announced for Battle Autumn, including a main event clash between Will Ospreay and Tetsuya Naito for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Title. Karl Anderson was scheduled to defend the NEVER Openweight Championship on the show but that match has been pulled. Hikuleo will face Yujiro Takahashi instead.
