Full Details For Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff's Real American Freestyle Revealed

Following multiple teases in videos inspired by their NWO clips from World Championship Wrestling in the 1990s, it was officially revealed that Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan's new project was Real American Freestyle (RAF), with wrestling coach Izzy Martinez being revealed as the 'third man' in the project.

Little was shown within the video, but much more has since been revealed about Real American Freestyle, with Forbes reporting that it will be a freestyle wrestling league which features elements of pro wrestling, notably storytelling and colourful characters. Hulk Hogan will be the Commissioner of Real American Freestyle, while Eric Bischoff will be the league's Chief Media Officer. Izzy Martinez will be the brand's Chief Operating Officer.

Former UFC fighter Ben Askren, former Olympian Kennedy Blades, and former national champion Zahid Valencia have all been announced for the new league. The brand will feature eight men's weight classes and four women's weight classes, with the inaugural event planned for August 30 in Cleveland, Ohio, according to AP News.

Real American Freestyle will receive funds from Left Lane Capital, a venture capital firm based in New York which has already backed Shaun White's Snow League and Gerard Piqué's Kings League. Hogan's Real American Beer - which is co-owned by WWE - will be the title sponsor of RAF.

Hogan told AP News that he decided to launch Real American Freestyle after seeing US President Donald Trump hug Wyatt Hendrickson after the wrestler defeated Gable Steveson to win the 2025 NCAA National Championship.

"When I saw that happen and I saw our president hug him, I went, OK, we are on point, we're ready to go and instincts have prevailed and I smell victory. I think we're right on track, brother," Hogan said.

Hogan was a prominent supporter of Donald Trump during the 2024 presidential campaign, giving speeches at the RNC and Trump's rally at Madison Square Garden.
