Hikuleo proved that blood is thicker than water at NJPW Burning Spirit, as the 6’8” 'Young Gun' turned on Bullet Club leader Jay White to reunite with his brother Tama Tonga.

White was proclaiming that Bullet Club was Hikuelo’s real family and urged Hikuleo to attack Tama Tonga, but ended up being choked and eating a Gun Stun from Tama Tonga. The two brothers then hugged it out, before Tama Tonga hoisted White's IWGP World Heavyweight Championship into the air. With this act, Hikuleo's five-year run with Bullet Club comes to an end, several months after Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa were kicked from the group at IMPACT No Surrender 2022.

Taking to Twitter after the event, Tama Tonga said the following: “They will never understand what we’ve been through. Thick and thin. I got your back, you got mine. Forever. Brothers.”

Hikuleo has represented Bullet Club across several promotions, having wrestled for the likes of AEW, IMPACT, and Ring of Honor, as well as NJPW STRONG.

A second-generation star, Hikuleo is the adopted son of the legendary Haku, and has been with New Japan since 2016.
