Hulk Hogan, at his tender age of 71, is still trying to make waves in the business world, with one of his more recent projects being that of Real American Beer - a company WWE now has a minority stake in, with the logo being featured on WWE’s ring mat. The Real American Beer company is looking to branch out even further, with potential interest in acquiring one of the more recognisable brands in the US.

In March of this year, Hooters of America filed for bankruptcy, so Hogan and his company are looking to pick up the pieces. According to Business Insider, Real American Beer is planning to submit a bid to Hooters’ intellectual property - which would allow the brand to create food, merchandise, and drink products including the Hooters IP. The company is reportedly not looking to take over the restaurants’ locations, instead licensing the name back out to these restaurants being a possibility. Perhaps we may see the birth of a new gimmick.

Hogan, along with Eric Bischoff, recently launched Real American Freestyle Wrestling - an amateur wrestling promotion which Hogan has made his intention to make as big as WWE. Real American Beer were revealed to be at the centre of a lawsuit back in February, with a woman suing after being allegedly injured in a promotional event for the brand.
