Injured Star Returns At TNA IMPACT Taping

SPOILER on return at TNA IMPACT taping

Following Saturday night's Slammiversary pay-per-view, TNA Wrestling held their latest IMPACT tapings from the Verdun Auditorium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on Sunday, July 21.

An injured star made their return to TNA Wrestling in one of the final segments of the taping. After accepting her proposal at Slammiversary, PCO and Steph De Lander's wedding was held on Sunday night but the ceremony ended up being crashed by a returning Matt Cardona, as well as First Class.

Sunday night marked Cardona's first TNA appearance for months, having been out of action since April with a torn pectoral muscle. Cardona sustained the injury only a couple of weeks after he returned to TNA with De Lander and the former WWE NXT talent had been locked in the romance storyline with PCO during Cardona's absence.

Cardona is currently in his second full-time run with TNA Wrestling. He is a former TNA Digital Media Champion and the belt is currently held by PCO as Pierre Carl Ouellet won the title at Slammiversary with a win over First Class' AJ Francis.

TNA and WWE NXT have been working together in recent months and Matt Cardona was one of several talents to admit they would love a match with John Cena during the 16-time world champion's retirement tour.
