Jade Cargill's wig malfunction has been quietly edited out of the replay of the June 12 episode of Friday Night SmackDown that is available for WWE's international fans on Netflix.
Cargill competed in a Fatal 4-Way against Charlotte Flair, Sol Ruca, and Lyra Valkyria as part of the Queen of the Ring tournament on SmackDown, with the match featuring a tower of doom spot where Cargill was superplexed into the ring. The original broadcast cut to Cargill's landing, revealing that her wig had been loosened, exposing her natural hair underneath. Cargill was able to reposition the wig, but she spent much of the remainder of the match with one hand on her head to keep the wig in place before Charlotte Flair picked up the win with a submission applied to Lyra Valkyria.

In the replay version of SmackDown on Netflix, a different angle is now used for the superplex spot and the broadcast avoids showing Cargill until after the wig has been repositioned. Edits have often been made to WWE shows since they began airing on Netflix, with the streaming service cutting out profanity and botches on a regular basis.
While SmackDown airs on USA Network in the United States, the show is broadcast on Netflix in many international territories, including the United Kingdom and Ireland where all of WWE's weekly programming and pay-per-views are available on the streaming service.
Jade Cargill commented on the wig malfunction after the incident, tweeting: "yall. Biggest fear happened tonight and I think I'm still alive. My wig won though."
