Jeff Jarrett's Role At NWA Crockett Cup Revealed

J-E-double-F will be on R-E-F duty on night two

Jeff Jarrett makes his long awaited NWA return on March 20, when ‘The Chosen One’ will appear at night two of the Crockett Cup.

After being announced for the event several weeks back as an ‘NWA ambassador’, it’s now been revealed that Jarrett will serve as the guest referee for the NWA World’s Heavyweight Title match between Champion Matt Cardona, and Nick Aldis.

A former six-time NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion during his time in TNA, Jarrett is the ninth combined longest reigning champion in the title’s lineage with 1,006 combined days with the Ten Pounds of Gold, with Aldis sitting at sixth place at 1,309 days as champion.

Cardona won the title from Trevor Murdoch at NWA PowerrrTrip on February 12, with the ‘Broski’ having racked up an impressive amount of titles during his heralded recent run on the independent scene.

Both Cardona and Jarrett have recently wrestled for GCW, with Jarrett coming out of retirement to defeat Effy at the historic WRLD on GCW event at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom in January.
