Joe Hendry Wanted To Team With Dalton Castle And David Arquette In ROH

Local Hero, Peacock Hero, and Hollywood Hero?

The COVID-19 pandemic has altered plans for billions around the World, and for ROH’s Joe Hendry, it cost him the chance to form a dream trio with Dalton Castle, and infamous former WCW World Heavyweight Champion David Arquette.

Hendry revealed his audacious plans on a recent episode of Ring of Honor’s Strong podcast, saying:

“Believe it or not, believe it not, I pitched that [three-man team with David Arquette & Dalton Castle]. I did. I pitched it. I pitched that in lockdown. I want that.”

The trio never materialised, and Hendry revealed that although COVID travel restrictions put the kibosh on those early plans, he’d still love to do it:

“Well, I think with the whole me being across an ocean probably put a pin in that but, yeah,” continued Hendry “I think that would be phenomenal. I think that’d be phenomenal and I would insist that David Arquette comes to the ring with a replica WCW Title. If you’re not doing that, you’re just throwing away an opportunity for a reaction.
