Joey Ryan Signs With Impact Wrestling

Adding a touch of sleaze....

Impact Wrestling's Bound For Glory pay-per-view in Chicago on Sunday night saw the return of one of pro wrestling's most controversial and polarizing figures, one Joey Ryan.

The man known for his unorthodox method of throwing opponents was one of twenty entrants in a "Call Your Shot" gauntlet, scoring a pair of eliminations before being tossed out by Madman Fulton.

So Cal Uncensored reports that Ryan's appearance was not a one-off, but that he's signed with Impact Wrestling. The site reports that Ryan's deal is of the multi-year variety.

Ryan retweeted the report, and later tweeted on the matter, "It made the most sense. @IMPACTWRESTLING has been the most consistent wrestling program on TV for the past 2 years, I get to keep all of my indie dates and best of all, they let me be me."

Ryan previously worked for Impact earlier this decade, joining the promotion following his participation in the "Gut Check" competition. After more than a year with the company, Ryan exited what was then Total Nonstop Action in July 2013.
