John Cena Comments On WWE Being Up For Sale

John Cena is one of WWE's biggest ever stars and still occasionally appears on a part-time basis, with his next match scheduled for WrestleMania 39 against WWE United States Champion Austin Theory. 

However, despite Cena's status within the company, some things remain above his station.

Asked about WWE currently being on the market during an interview with the Associated Press, the 16-time world champion said: 

"That's way above my pay grade. I just don't know what's going on with that. I love Vince McMahon. He's everything you could want in a great friend, business partner, father, mentor. I love the man. But his business dealings are his business and what he shares with me, that's between us. But I don't know what’s going on with the corporate structure in the WWE or the creative direction of the WWE".

In the same interview, Cena praised Roman Reigns as 'the greatest of all time' and stressed his loyalty to Vince McMahon following the allegations levelled against WWE's Executive Chairman.
