Kevin Nash Reveals Scrapped Pitch For Scott Hall Tribute At WWE WrestleMania 38

A scrapped idea from WWE to pay tribute to Scott Hall

Scott Hall sadly passed away back on March 14, 2022, at the age of 63. The WWE Hall of Famer had undergone hip replacement surgery but post-surgery complications caused a blood clot to get loose which resulted in Hall suffering three heart attacks.

Speaking about his longtime best friend on the Kliq This Podcast, Kevin Nash revealed WWE pitched to hold a tribute for Hall at WrestleMania 38.

"They [WWE] wanted to do some things. I just told them, I said, 'Man, you guys can do whatever you want to do.' There was talk about doing a hologram thing with Scott and some other things. I said, 'You guys can do whatever you wanna do.' I said, 'I'm not.' I said, 'I'm not gonna f*****g say anything negative about anybody that wants to do something for him.' I said, 'I just - I'm not ready.' F**k, I didn't leave my house. I didn't go on the road. I didn't shift for a while. It f****d me up," Nash said.

The pitch was ultimately scrapped and WWE did not have a hologram of Hall at WrestleMania. The organisation did pay tribute to Hall on the March 14 episode of Monday Night Raw, however, and several wrestlers paid homage to The Bad Guy across several promotions in the weeks following his passing.
