Kurt Angle: Chris Jericho & Eddie Guerrero Would Have Done Extremely Well In TNA

Jericho and Guerrero could have had a great match in their sleep

When Kurt Angle jumped to TNA it sent shockwaves through the wrestling world, so big that Angle remains the biggest acquisition in company history.

Others have been close to signing with TNA at times in their careers, or at the very least heavily rumoured to join, but according to Angle himself, there are two names in particular who he feels would’ve thrived in TNA, saying on the Kurt Angle Show podcast:

"Gosh. Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero. Those guys, they would have carried the company on their backs. They would have done extremely well. They've always done well whether they were in WCW or WWE didn't matter. I mean AEW now look at Chris Jericho. He's still going as good as he's ever been. It's just unbelievable. But I think those two guys would have been really good for TNA.”

As two of the most celebrated names of their generation, it stands to reason that Jericho and Eddie would have thrived anywhere, as we’ve seen in recent years with Jericho’s runs in AEW and NJPW.
